ESIMODE Contest 2012

Every year ESIMODE gives students the opportunity to compete in a contest to show their creativity for our major fashion show. This event takes place in the presence of fashion industry professionals, press, teachers, students and parents.

For this year's event, ESIMODE invited artists to create a flyer that would be displayed throughout the fashion show. This would also represent the brand of the school. The theme of this flyer was open to illustration, a collage, 2D and 3D drawings.

Jury selects Cimone Key as the winner

Cimone was awarded the top prize of 600 USD. Her drawing which you can see below, was used to create the poster art for our event, including invites, and was sent out to the press. Her poster was also shown on all our networks worldwide and reflected the values and the standards that we felt were of a very high quality.

Currently, Cimone is preparing her Bachelor of Graphics Design in Dallas, TX (USA). She envisages working in an international agency. Her passion for fashion, design, typography and the theory of colours started at an early age. She hopes to become recognized for her work in the industry.

After her participation in the ESI MODE contest through Talenthouse, her poster shined above the rest thanks to its orginality, using a combination of artistic techniques. She was therefore in our view the best entrant of the year, and throroughly deserves this award.

Public Choice Award goes to Sara Vidigal

Sara Vidigal won the most public votes for her artwork which we have featured below. She also won $200 and will be highlighted across our social networks for the coming months.
